Colour is a transformative force that shapes our emotions, memories and experiences. Throughout time, in our homes, moments and occasions, colour has been ever-present in our lives. It’s power to become part of our core memories and affect environments is unparalleled. We often recognise the changing of seasons, the presence of celebrations or a moment in time through a particular colour. We asked ourselves, what is the colour palette of Ramadan? Is it the browns in the dates, the blue hues from the lanterns, the sunrise to sunset change in the sky? Many cultural occasions and seasons are marketed with this in mind; while the image of Ramadan doesn’t automatically bring a colour palette about. Together with Jotun, we were bound to create one.
Note: sounds often evoke the perception of a specific colour — it’s a natural and often creative way of experiencing the world. We also captured the sounds heard during your everyday experiences in this season, a two senses moment. A colour symphony, if you will. This campaign was also powered with content creation and partnerships.
